Adriene Marion Dockery, affectionately known as Marion, passed away on July 13, 2025, at Piketon Nursing Center. Born on October 1, 1949, in Goldsboro, North Carolina, she was a cherished soul who touched the lives of many through her vivacious spirit and warm demeanor.

Marion had a passion for life that was evident in everything she did. She loved to dance and sing karaoke, often filling the room with her joyous melodies. Her fondness for travel brought her great joy and allowed her to create cherished memories wherever she went. Above all, Marion had an unwavering love for her animals and her family, especially her treasured grand-babies, who were the light of her life.

She is survived by two sons, Jeffery "Matthew" Linne of Lucasville and Gene Clark Collins Jr. and wife Cami of Marysville, OH; two daughters, Tammy Mae Nauman and husband Nate of Westerville, and Melissa Collins of Sabina, OH. Marion also leaves behind four brothers, Gene Randal Linne of Colorado, George Montgomery and wife Kathy of Minford, Tim Montgomery of Columbus, and Joe Montgomery and wife Cheryl of New Boston; and two sisters, Ann Lewis of Jackson and Shelia Potts and husband Dewey of New Boston. Her legacy will continue through her fourteen grandchildren: Justin Linne, Hailey Ward, Aaron Linne, Kirkland Linne, Becca Casey, Logan Collins, Bret Collins, Ethan Collins, Carson Collins, Dylan Collins, Madison Wilburn, McKenna Nauman, Gage Collins, and Cody "Austin" Laufer; as well as her thirteen great-grandchildren who adored her.

Marion cherished her relationships beyond family as well, including her dear friend and caregiver, Michelle Cubano, and her soul sister and lifelong friend, Sally Grubb and her husband John of Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Linne; her mother, Julia Mae (Horne) Montgomery; and her two husbands, Gene Clark Collins and Gary Wayne Dockery.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Marion's life at a visitation on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at SWICK BENTLEY FUNERAL HOME in New Boston. A graveside service will follow at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg under the direction of SWICK BENTLEY FUNERAL HOME.
