Arnold Rodney Mustain, Jr., 95, of Portsmouth, entered the gates of Heaven shouting on August 16, 2026. He was born March 31, 1931, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to the late Arnold Mustain, Sr., and Lillie Fairchild (Carter). He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Juanita Mustain (Martin), a daughter, Pamela Mustain, 2 brothers, Frank Mustain, Lonnie Mustain, a sister, Joann Smith, 1 great-grandchild, and 1 great-great-grandchild. He is survived by 5 children, Brenda (Dave) Stiltner, Kathy (Wayne) Fletcher, Patricia (George) Lore, Arnold (Lynn) Mustain, III, Janet (Cheryl) Mustain; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

Arnold was a Christian Baptist preacher for much of his life. He loved the Lord, his family, and his morning coffee. He will be missed. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home for the services.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 Friday, August 21, 2026 at Seventh Street Christian Baptist Church in Portsmouth with Rev. George Lore officiating under the direction of SWICK BENTLEY FUNERAL HOME in New Boston.  Interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery.  Friend may call at the church on Friday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
