Barbara Jo Schultz

Barbara Jo Schultz,62, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her residence on May 18, 2025, just one day after celebrating her birthday on May 17. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Barbara brought joy and love to all who knew her.

Barbara was known for her vibrant personality; she was truly the life of the party. Her love for her children and grandchildren was boundless, and her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and creativity. A passionate enthusiast of arts and crafts, Barbara dedicated much of her time to creating beautiful works that brought joy to her family. Additionally, her love for singing  filled many gatherings with heartfelt melodies.

Barbara is survived by her two sons, Christian Reed of Portsmouth and Drake Dickerson (Brittany) of Circleville. She also leaves behind two daughters, Toni Reed of Portsmouth and Devon Schultz of Columbus. A cherished sister, she is remembered by her sister Samantha Edwards (Lonnie) of Gahanna, Ohio. Barbara's family was further enriched by the presence of four grandchildren and one great grandchild, who will forever hold the memories of a grandmother whose love shone brightly in their lives.

Barbara joins her beloved parents, L.G. and Donna Jean (Ranshaw) Schultz, as well as her brother, John Schultz, and two sisters, Jeanette Atique and Connie Schultz, in eternal rest. Her legacy of love and joy will continue to resonate through her surviving family, as they honor her memory by cherishing the bonds she made and the countless joyful moments they shared.

Cremation services have been entrusted to SWICK BENTLEY FUNERAL HOME in New Boston.
