Brandy Lee Kelley, 35 of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly in her home on September 25th, 2026. She was born on July 16th, 1991 to Tisa Kelley and Michael Kelley. She was a graduate of Portsmouth High School.

She is survived by her mother, Tisa Kelley; father, Michael Kelley; little sister, Mariah Kelley; Mamal, Mary Fyffe; an aunt, several uncles & cousins; and her forever love and faithful companion, Jak Jak, who held an immensely special place in her heart.

Brandy was preceded in death by her Papal, Randy Fyffe.

Brandy had a gift for creating beauty wherever her imagination took her. She was a naturally talented artist with a passion for photography, oil painting, and playing the xylophone and piano. Whether she was behind a camera, a canvas, or creating beautiful sounds, Brandy had a way of expressing herself that was uniquely her own.

Brandy’s love of music was evident throughout her school years, as she proudly participated in PHS’ award-winning marching, show, and concert bands, group performances, and six years of solo and ensemble competitions. Beyond the music and accomplishments, she treasured the friendships, laughter, and goofy shenanigans she shared with her bandmates. She certainly created memories for a lifetime. She was a master of mischief and always solemnly swore to be up to no good.

She was also endlessly curious and wonderfully goofy. Brandy was always the first to crack a joke and had a fascination with space and all things extraterrestrial. She could happily dive into conversations about aliens, the universe, conspiracies and, of course, some of her favorites: Michio Kaku and Giorgio Tsoukalos. It would be really hard to forget her love for Alan Rickman and Criss Angel, too. Her sense of humor, imagination, and ability to find joy in the strange and unexpected were some of the things that made her so unforgettable.

Lastly, she was a gamer. She enjoyed countless hours of League of Legends, Minecraft, Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania and many others.

Brandy was more than her talents and interests, though. She was a daughter, a sister, a momma to her pup, and a person who left her own mark on the lives of those around her. Her memories will be carried on by those that love her.

She will always be driftwood with her little sister.
