Debra Ann Wombles

Debra Wombles, born on September 16, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully 8/10/2025 at the age of 67. She was the beloved daughter of Sallie and Nathern Wombles.

Debra was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her loving daughter, Tanya Conley (husband Justin Conley), and her sister, Pam Wood (husband Jeff Wood). Her memory also lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Shiann Dotson and her fiancé James Shugert; Justin Conley and his partner Rae Walker; and Skylar Burchett. Debra’s love extended into the next generation with four great-grandchildren: Alexander Dotson, Morgana Dotson, Noah Walker, and James Maddox Shugert.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Ron, Terrell, and Joyce Wombles, Sharen Barns, and Tina Castle—their memories forever part of her life’s tapestry.

Debra had a gentle way of making everyone feel seen and valued. Whether through her warm smile or the way she cheered on her grandchildren’s smallest victories, she embodied love in her every action. She had a passion for crochet, taking care of her dog, Trixie, and always had a story or a kind word to share.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 15th, at SWICK BENTLEY FUNERAL HOME in New Boston, with visitation beginning at 12pm. Interment will follow at Lucasville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made directly to the funeral home.

Debra’s warmth, generosity, and love continue to inspire those who knew her. Her legacy shines brightest in the hearts of her family.
