Faris E. Lowder

Faris E. Lowder, 61, of Wheelersburg died Tuesday Dec. 17, 2013 at Southern Ohio Medical Centers emergency room. He was born Jan. 19, 1952 in Loraine, OH. a son of the late Virgil and Cora Potter Lowder. He was a 1970 graduate of Glenwood High School, a former Ford Motor Co. employee in Loraine, OH. having retired after 33 1/2 years. He was also a member of the VFW and Am Vets of Loraine. Faris is survived by 3 daughters, Jennifer Morris and Sherry Lowder both of South Carolina and Charlene Lowder of Kentucky; 3 sisters, Debbie Turner and husband George, Marvella Lowder-Henry and husband Jerod and Sandi Lang and husband Tony all of Wheelersburg; 1 brother, Larry Lowder of Scioto Furnace; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, James and Donald Lowder and a sister, Rhonda Damron. Services will be 2 PM Monday Dec. 23, 2013 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON with Pastor Ronnie Blevins officiating. Interment will follow at Warring cemetery in Garrison, KY. Visitation will be Sunday 5 to 8 PM and Monday 1 to 2 PM at D. W.
