Freda Mae Noel, 96, of Wheelersburg, passed away peacefully at her home on March 23, 2026. She was born to the late Charles and Daisey (Blevins) Elliot on September 2, 1929, in New Boston.

Freda was a talented musician. Beyond her music, she found great fulfillment in sewing and gardening, taking pride in the her flowers. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 73 years, who passed away on October 12, 2021; and her son, Terry Richard Noel.

Freda leaves behind a devoted family who cherished and celebrated her support and love. Her two children, Forrest Dale Noel (Donna) of Portsmouth and Cheryl Lyon (Robert R.J.) of Wheelersburg;  She raised two grandchildren, Terry Richard Noel Jr. (Mackenzie) of Portsmouth and Kimberley Noel Evens of Wheelersburg, whose lives were deeply influenced by her guidance and care. Other grandchildren include Chris Noel of Portsmouth, Jennifer Hogg (Phillip) of Flatwoods, KY, Rob Lyon (Katie) of Wheelersburg, and Wes Lyon of Wheelersburg. 

Private services were held on Thursday March 26, 2026 at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg under the direction of SWICK BENTLEY FUNERAL HOME in New Boston.  Online condolences may be left at www.sbentleyfh.com.
