Age 50, of Portsmouth, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020 at OSU in Columbus He was born October 9, 1969 in Portsmouth to Charles M. and Betty (Stapleton) Taylor John worked as a carpenter in the construction industry In his spare time he enjoyed camping, hiking and watching television.

He is survived by his fiance', Carla Hanna; sons, Brayden Taylor of Oak Hill and Adam Greene of Portsmouth; daughter, Dashia Taylor of Oak Hill; brothers, Robert, Charlie, Lawrence, and Glen Taylor, all of Portsmouth; sisters, Kathy Furner of New Boston and Sherry Holloway of South Webster; the mother of his children, Kathy Williams; several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be 7:00 p.m Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at D.W. Swick-Nelson Funeral Home in New Boston. Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m on Tuesday Private interment to follow Arrangements by D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston.
