Joshua E Collins

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Joshua E. Collins, fondly known as Josh, who left us on June 5, 2025, at the age of 34. Born on December 10, 1990, in Portsmouth, Josh brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.

A proud graduate of Clay High School in 2009, Josh's enthusiasm for life was evident in everything he did. He was known for his deep love of professional wrestling, often engaging friends and family with spirited discussions about his favorite matches and wrestlers. Josh cherished his time spent playing Magic: The Gathering.

Josh's interests were diverse; he found solace in reading and expressed his creativity through coloring, a hobby he enjoyed throughout his life. As a devoted fan of sports, he never missed a chance to cheer on the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers, passionately celebrating their victories.

He is survived by his beloved family, including his grandmother, Delores Collins; parents, Bill Harris Jr. and Teresa (Collins) Harris; and his brother, Dakota Collins, alongside his fiancé Brook of Greensboro, NC. Josh also leaves behind a loving extended family, including uncles Dave Collins (Suzette) of Portsmouth, Richie Harris (Abby) of West Union, and Matt Harris of Lexington, KY, as well as aunts Lisa Collins of Portsmouth, Missy Hanson of Marysville, KY, Tracy Snedecor (Darren) of Florence, KY, and Kim Santos of Florence, KY. He holds a special place in the hearts of many nieces and nephews.

Josh’s spirit will forever remain in the memories of those he impacted with his kindness, humor, and unwavering support. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.  Cremation services have been Entrusted to SWICK BENTLEY FUNERAL HOME in New Boston.
