Kage Michael Truitt

Kage Michael Truitt, born on September 17, 2002, in Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away on November 12, 2025, at SOMC ER.

Kage was a 2020 graduate of Glenwood High School, he was an avid athlete, contributing to the school's final four basketball team in 2019 he also loved playing soccer. His enthusiasm for sports was matched only by his love for the outdoors; he found joy in golfing, fishing, and hunting, often spending his free time working out at the gym.

Kage worked as a landscaper for Leighvi's Landscaping, taking pride in his work. His creativity shone through during the Christmas season, as he delighted in decorating clients' properties. Known for his big heart and his ability to connect with everyone he met, Kage truly never met a stranger. He loved his siblings dearly.

He is survived by his father, Thomas Truitt, and stepmother, Sarrah; his mother, Sarah Vorhees, and stepfather, Colt; two brothers, Drake Truitt of Sciotoville and Henry Vorhees of Logan; three sisters, Bella Mustain of Wheelersburg, Mya Truitt of Portsmouth, and Jasmine Truitt of Portsmouth. Kage also had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Church of God Mt. Assembly, located at 3417 Gallia St, New Boston, OH 45662 with Pastors Brian and Josh Holbrook officiating under the direction of SWICK BENTLEY FUNERAL HOME in New Boston.
