Lucy “Libby” Stone, 77, of Portsmouth passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026 at her home surrounded by family. She was born February 5, 1949 to the late Jasper and Ora (Kaiser) Neace. Libby was a selfless person who was willing to help anyone in need at any time. She loved her children and grandchildren deeply.

Libby is survived by three sons, Steven Stone (Lorena Bastidas) of Florida, Derrick Neace of Washington, and Terry Stone of Portsmouth; three sisters, Gerro Carrigg of Florida, Jenny Adama of Florida, and Pearl Slark of Portsmouth; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by six brothers, J.C. Neace, Ronnie Neace, Bob Neace, Johnnie Neace, Larry Neace and Jim Neace; three sisters, Jean Neace, Kay Neace, and Sue Neace.

Cremation services have been entrusted to SWICK BENTLEY FUNERAL HOME in New Boston.
