MARVIN E. MULLEN

PORTSMOUTH - Marvin E. Mullen, 72, of Portsmouth passed away Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014 at Bridgeport Care Center. He was born May 16, 1942 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Albert and Vivian Wiseman Mullen. Marvin was a 1961 graduate of Northwest High School and when he was able, he attended First Christian Holiness Church in New Boston. He loved to sing and spend time at Karaoke. He is survived by a daughter, Betty Jo Cornell of Portsmouth; special friends, Alice and Paul Kegley; granddaughter, Samantha Damron; twin grandsons, Bret and Todd Damron, all of Portsmouth; many nieces, nephews, and lots of friends. He was also preceded by a son, Alen Mullen. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday Nov. 24, 2014 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON with interment to follow at Rushtown Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday and 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Condolences to dwswickfuneralhome.com.
