Oliver James Carver was born asleep March 15, 2026, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center. 

Though his time with us was brief beyond measure, Oliver’s arrival touched the hearts of all who awaited his presence with great anticipation and love. His memory will live on in the cherished moments and hopes held by his devoted family.

Oliver is survived by his loving parents, Robert Ryan Carver and Brooke McKenzie Hammond. He was also lovingly connected to his grandparents—James and Rachel Barrett, and Doug and Rosevea Hammond—and his great-grandmother, Donna Young. Additionally, he is remembered  by many aunts and uncles who embraced his brief journey among them.

In this time of profound grief, the family takes comfort in the support and compassion extended by friends and relatives, as they honor the memory of Oliver James Carver and the incredible love he inspired in those who awaited his arrival.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family under the direction of SWICK BENTLEY FUNERAL HOME in New Boston.
