Paul Kenneth Shepard

PPaul Kenneth Shepard, 61, of Franklin Furnace died Monday, Jan.12, 2009 at St. Mary's hospital as the result of an automobile accident. He was born Sept. 7, 1947 in Galopolis, OH., a son of the late Paul and Madeline Chapman Shepard. He served in the U.S. Marines and was a member of the Franklin Furnace Independant Baptist Church. Paul is survived by a brother, Michael Sullivan of Franklin Furnace; two sisters, Charlene Lovejoy of St. Albans, W.VA. and Debbie Ison of Franklin Furnace and serveral nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a niece, Debbie Clifton. Services will be 11 AM Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Rev. Denny Hankins officiating. Graveside services and burial will be at Mount Olive Cemetery in Parkersburg, W.VA. at 2:30 PM Thursday. Visitation will be Wednesday 6 to 8 PM and Thursday 10 to 11 AM at D.W. Swick in New Boston.
