Ricky Joe Scarberry

Ricky Joe Scarberry, a beloved figure known for his craftsmanship and  support for others, passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 71. He was born on June 11, 1954, in Portsmouth.

Ricky liked. working with tools in hand  as a mechanic or working on  computers, he found joy in creating and repairing. His dedication to helping people shone brightly, as he often used his skills to assist friends and family with their projects.  Ricky also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by two sisters, Judy Bowen of New Boston and Joyce Bailey of Portsmouth. Ricky was preceded in death by his brothers: Jerry Scarberry, Danny Scarberry, Bobby Scarberry, Steve Scarberry, Kenneth Scarberry, and David Scarberry; and sisters, Linda Neal and Alice Mae Scarberry.

Cremation services were entrusted to SWICK BENTLEY FUNERAL HOME in New Boston.
