Rose Marie Howard

Rose Marie Howard, 67,  born on March 31, 1958, in Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on April 6, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of the late Donald and Mary Margaret (Wilson) Bradley, and the cherished sister of the late Donald Lee Bradley.

Rose dedicated her career to serving others as a nurse aid, exemplifying her compassion and commitment to helping those in need. She was well known for her sense of humor; she could joke and take a joke with the best of them. Her love for family was profound, and she especially adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family trips to the beach and Gatlinburg, TN, were among her favorite memories, underscoring her love for spending time outdoors, particularly enjoying fishing.

In addition to her family, Rose had a passion for crime movies and news, often finding herself enthralled by the latest stories on television.

Rose leaves behind her loving daughter, Crystal Tackett (Rick) of Lucasville; her brother, Allen Bradley (Michele) of West Portsmouth; five grandchildren: Courtney Tackett, Margaret Caldwell, Rickey Tackett, Kelsey Tackett, and Hunter Caldwell; and two great-grandchildren, Pierson Caldwell and Mia Caldwell.

Visitation for Rose Marie Howard will be held on April 11, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM at SWICK BENTLEY FUNERAL HOME in New Boston. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her and will remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
