Roxie Stiltner, 84, of West Portsmouth passed away, Thursday, January 8,2026. She was born March 11, 1941, in Prestonsburg, KY to the late Elisha and Nora (Adams) Sparks. Roxie loved the Lord and was considered the Mother of Victory Tabernacle in West Portsmouth.
Roxie is survived by five daughters, Gail Lee (Allen) of Sciotoville, Denise Ingles of Otway, Ida Knight (Adam) of North Carolina, Ruth McGlone (Marty) of West Portsmouth, and Juanita Boldman (Duayne Slanczka) of Otway; twelve grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; and three special nieces, Delphine Price, Sally McCrory, and Darlene Pruitt. In addition to her parents Roxie was preceded in death by her loving husband whom she married on September 15, 1958, Robert L. Stiltner; four sisters, Hailie Sizemore, Gladys Giles, Alka Corbin, and Mary Murr; four brothers, Johnny Sparks, James Sparks, Warnie Sparks, and Woodrow Sparks; a great grandchild, Declan Knight; Special nephew, Junior Sparks; Special Niece, Nora Alice; three son-in-laws, Rick Sparks, Donald Ingles, and Bobby Boldman.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. (Noon) Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at SWICK BENTLEY FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Adam Knight officiating. Interment will follow at Old Wheelersburg Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
