Shane La'Mar Harris

Shane La’Mar Harris aka (Wispers 25) age 39, of Portsmouth, OH, went home to be with the Lord on July 30, 2025 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth Ohio. Shane believed in Jesus Christ as his Lord. Shane also believed in GOD word: “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”

Shane was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on October 4, 1985 to Franklin David Harris Jr and Gwendolyn Gail (Bailey) Harris in Portsmouth, Ohio. Shane La’Mar Harris was married On July 19, 2011 to Marissa (Hudson) Harris in Greenup Ky. They were in love for 20 years. Shane is survived by two sons Kewan Lett and Kingston Harris both of Portsmouth Ohio. Shane is survived by one daughter Karissa Harris of Portsmouth, Ohio and one Grandson Kyrie Lett of Portsmouth, Ohio Kyrie called Shane “G Paw”.

Shane Harris is survived by his Father Franklin David Harris Jr, Mother Gwendolyn Harris, Shane is also survived by three natural brothers Alvin J. Bailey, Franklin (Amanda) Harris III in Portsmouth Ohio, and Narada (Linden) Harris in Montana and three special brothers Zack Hall Robert "Halfy" Thomas & Cameron Cosby of Portsmouth, Ohio. Shane is survived by three sisters Natusha R. McBroom in Columbus Ohio, Creshella Jarju in Columbus Ohio, Zhane’ S. Harris in Portsmouth Ohio. Shane is also survived by a large family of Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, and friends.

Shane is preceded in Death by his Sisters Tonya D. Bailey, Nova Bailey, his loving Grandmothers: Mary K. Harris, Novella Sullavan, Hazel Bailey, his loving Grandfathers: Franklin D. Harris Sr and Edwin T. Bailey.

Shane attended Portsmouth Ohio City Schools and Shane graduated with a High School Diploma. Shane Harris attended Devry University Online obtaining an Associate Degree in Business Management. Shane attended Shawnee State University CAD. Shane Harris was Co Owner of Slow Vision Entertainment. Shane was also a Hip Hop R&B artist, writer, singer, producer. Shane Co Owner of Fresh Lawn$ So Fresh You Can See it. Shane worked so many other jobs we can’t name all of them.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2025, at SWICK BENTLEY FUNERAL HOME in New Boston. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
