Timothy "Huggie" Goodman, a beloved figure in the community, passed away on October 20, 2025, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born on August 30, 1966, in Portsmouth, Ohio, and spent his life bringing joy, humor, and warmth to those around him. Timothy was a proud 1984 graduate of Wheelersburg High School. He worked for several years at Village Catering.
Timothy was best known for his love of Ohio State Buckeyes football, which brought him immense joy and camaraderie with fellow fans. His zest for life extended to his beloved animals, particularly his loyal dog, Bandy. An avid collector, Timothy liked to collect model and remote control cars.
Timothy was a jokester at heart, he liked picking on people and if they didn't pick back he thought they were mad at him.
He is survived by his mother, Emma Jean Goodman, and his loving wife, Brenda Goodman. Timothy's family also includes three brothers: Charles W. Goodman and his wife Becky of Wheelersburg, Bennie Goodman of Lucasville, and Paul Goodman of New Lebanon. He leaves behind four sisters: Sheryl Horner and her husband Christopher of Arizona, Crystal Blanton and her husband Anthony of New Bremen, Bertha Jean Goodman of Lucasville, and Millisa Goodman of Ottway. Timothy was preceded in death by his father, Ithel Wilburn Goodman.
A visitation will be held on October 27, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Truth Tabernacle Church, 7601 Ohio River Road, Wheelersburg, OH 45694. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at the church with Pastor Brian Sisler officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace.
