Toshia Lynn Watts

Toshia Lynn Watts, 34, a beacon of love and joy, passed away on August 6, 2025, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Born on July 6, 1991, in Portsmouth, Ohio, Toshia graced the world with her bright spirit and devotion to her family.

Her children were her life, and she dedicated herself completely to their happiness and well-being. Toshia had a unique ability to make people smile, embodying warmth and kindness that drew others to her. Her laughter was a gentle reminder of the beauty in life, and her presence could brighten even the dullest of days.

Toshia is survived by her beloved mother, Martha (Watts) Thompson, who provided her with strength and support throughout her life. She leaves behind her cherished children: Joshua Sowards, Jr., Dixie Erwin, Shannon Watts, Addabella Sowards, and Taylor Sowards, each of whom will carry her love in their hearts eternally. Her siblings, Stephanie Bowling and Beverly Kleinman (Jennifer), along with her nieces and nephews, Conrado Rodriguez, Kaison Rodriguez, Emiliano Rodriguez, Novaleigh Horton, Colton Horton, and Emiliana Kleinman.

Though Toshia's father, Scott William Russell, predeceased her, his love continues to resonate through the lives of his family, connected by the bonds of love and remembrance that Toshia nurtured throughout her life.

As we celebrate Toshia Lynn Watts, let us cherish the moments filled with love, laughter, and the undeniable bond of family that she so fervently believed in. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
